GfK published research recently on global attitudes to money, possessions and experiences.

Ireland wasn't covered, so we asked the same questions on our June omnibus to see how we compare.

Firstly, when it comes to the trade off between time and money, only a minority of us would rather have more time (we have superimposed the Irish score on the chart showing the % who agree from the GfK report):

So fairly average on that score.

However, when it comes to wanting more experiences rather than more possessions, we score quite highly (again with the Irish score superimposed on the relevant GfK chart showing the % who agree):

We're actually quite ahead of the UK on this measure. Irish women in particular value experiences over possessions.
