With the negotiations to form the next government still under way, we thought it might be an opportunity to ask the people of Ireland what they think of the job their representatives do.
Using our joint panel with the RTE Claire Byrne Live show, we got the answers from over 1,000 adults throughout Ireland to the question:
"How likely would you be to recommend your local TD (one you voted for) to a friend on a scale of 0 to 10, where 0 ‘wouldn’t recommend at all’ and 10 is ‘would recommend completely’?"
The answer is quite sobering: essentially the Net Promoter Score for Ireland's TDs is lower than for Ireland's banks!
Women, middle-aged voters, more affluent voters and those living in Dublin are especially unimpressed with their TDs, even though they voted for them less than two months ago!
